1. Boomslang

The first animal to make it to the list of deadly animals is Boomslang, a snake that is mostly present in South Africa but can still be found in other African areas. There are a couple of qualities that make it one of the deadliest snakes in the world.

The fangs of Boomslang are extremely big. It also possesses special eyes, which have better vision than other snake species. Many research studies reveal that their eyesight is almost identical to that of humans. As most people know, snakes don’t typically have the best eyesight; however, this kind of snake successfully counters this fact. It is known that they have the ability to pick birds right out of the sky as they possess sharp eyesight.

It should be known that if a person is bitten by a Boomslang snake, there is no chance of survival. They have the urge to attack humans only if they are threatened by them, otherwise, they usually don’t go after humans. Many of them are green and brown. They blend in well with the wooded environment and it makes them perfect assassins in the woods. The venom which it injects contains Hemotoxin which can kill a person within hours. This toxin will make the person bleed from every hole in the body even from the ears and eyes.

Johannesburg, in South Africa, is the only place that has the Antivenom available.  Hence, there is a good chance that if bitten, you will not be able to survive the poison. The average time of death by this poison is two hours. The longer you wait for getting the medicine, the greater the damage your body will face.

It needs to be handled with great care as their skin is poisonous and secretes fluids that are also poisonous. Its dangerous skin is the reason they survive in the wild with great ease.

This frog was used to make poison darts and arrows for a very long time by many tribes, hence the name. However, only three types of Poison Dart Frog are deadly, the other does not secrete poison. Usually, the skin of poison dart frogs does not kill with a simple touch, although it may make you very sick. The poison secretes through the skin and penetrates through yours, the level of sickness depends on the amount of poison that has traveled through your skin and went into your blood.

The Golden Dart Frog, a special type of Poison Dart Frog has the ability to kill with any touch. They are the deadliest of all the Poison Dart Frog species in the world. They, along with the other types are mostly kept in zoos, where people enjoy their beauty and colors.

It is generally said that a drop of Yellow-Bellied Sea Snake’s venom is capable of killing three grown healthy men.

The toxin has a specific procedure to kill. It attacks the person’s respiratory system, making some of them paralyzed. One of the most deadly things about the poison secreted by Yellow-Bellied Sea Snake is that it targets all your muscles making you unable to move and writhe in agony and pain. The pain is so intense that it makes you pray to God to take your life. The CPR procedure is necessary to keep you alive until you are treated with antivenom. If the victim is not treated with the CPR procedure, his lungs may give out along with the possibility to make your heart dead. Hence, CPR and antivenom are necessary to keep the victim alive after being bitten. However, after being saved, people also experience muscle aches in their bodies which may also be quite high.

The snake’s poison contains several poisons such as tetrodotoxin, hyaluronidase, 5-hydroxytryptamine, tyramine, tryptamine, histamine, octopamine, acetylcholine, taurine and dopamine. The combined effect of these poisons is extremely deadly and renders any ant venom useless. However, instant CPR is the only way a person can survive the poison; otherwise, the person dies from lack of oxygen or cardiac arrest. If help does not come soon, the victim may suffer from permanent blindness or maybe permanent paralysis.

This is the reason why people call it ‘The Flying Venom.’ It possesses the same poison as that of the Poison Dart Frog discussed earlier. Hooded Pitohui kills the person with the same effect, as its feathers and skin secrete much poisonous venom. The amazing thing about this venom is that it is the deadliest venom present on Earth.

A research study was done on mice as the subject when some Hooded Pitohui’s poison was injected into it. The mouse was dead within a few seconds, making the venom of Hooded Pitohui, the fastest penetrating venom on Earth. Usually, many people are not affected by this animal as the poison has to enter the bloodstream to introduce its effects. However, some side effects also occur; even the poison is not able to reach the bloodstream. However, if a significant amount of poison enters your bloodstream both paralysis and death can easily occur. The bird is mostly found in Papua, New Guinea, its native area.

The poison has the ability to cut off airways and kill you soon unless the ant venom is provided to the victim. The venom may kill a person in a matter of a few hours. Even after the ant venom has been given, people may get severe headaches and joint pain for a long time after the sting. This animal’s favorite place is Israel but is also found in several other places. This scorpion is said to love sand, hence is mostly found around places where a lot of sand is present.

The poisons secreted by the Pufferfish are Saxitoxin and Tetrodotoxin, extremely lethal. Tetrodotoxin alone is known to cause rapid heart rate, a decrease in blood pressure, muscle paralysis, tingling and numbness. Medical treatment becomes necessary very soon after a person makes a contact with the fish.

Pufferfish is considered deadly, not only by humans, but other fishes even the Sharks stay away from its dead body. It possesses barbs which makes it very hard to fight and hunt. It also has an amazing quality to expand, making it difficult to hunt and eat.

Lanomia is one of the most dangerous creatures as it hides in its natural habitat, making it extremely difficult to spot it. Hence, humans may encounter its poison without even realizing it until they are a bit. Experts have known this animal for a long time, but it is only recently that they are known as such dangerous animals.

In the last few years, they have resulted in many deaths. Brazilian scientists have just prepared the ant venom when they realized the number of deaths resulting from Lanomia. The poison of this creature makes your body bleed extremely and also prevents clotting. This caterpillar gives you something called ‘bruised blood’, just like being hit in the arm or face and getting a bruise, making your body swell at that point. The poison is also known to attack human cells, especially the protein cells, causing them to prevent them from clotting, resulting in very low platelets count. As such the victim starts bleeding throughout all his openings, much like Dengue Fever.

The important study going on with this animal is why these animals changed their behavior, as the death count due to this animal has risen in the past few years. A reason attributed is that this animal has recently realized its power, becoming one of the deadliest animals in the whole world.
