Pakistani model and actress, Veena Malik, has always been famous for her scandals. In Mumbai on 26th February 2013, she celebrated her 29th birthday with her fans. That is when she received 137 kisses by them on her hand in a minute. This set a new and weird world record according to the World Record Academy, for the most kisses on the hand in a minute. Previously, Indian actor, Salman Khan, had the record of getting 108 kisses in a minute on a TV reality show “Guinness World Record – Ab India Todega”.
Veena Malik, Jeremy Williams, Longinus Fernandes and others organized a Bollywood hunt contest ‘The City That Never Sleeps’ and selected an actor for their upcoming film in Mumbai. 41 contestants took part in that contest. Veena Malik received 137 kisses on her hand from the contestants of The City that Never Sleeps-Bollywood Hunt.
Veena Malik admitted that she did that for the sake of her upcoming film ‘The City That Never Sleeps’. She also said:
“It was a great moment as I broke the Guinness World Record by getting the most number of kisses on hand in a minute. I am really happy to share this excitement with all my fans”.
She also expressed gratitude towards the producer, Satish Reddy, and director, Haroon Rashid, of her film ‘The City That Never Sleeps” for giving her the opportunity to mark her name in the world record.
