Tunnel of Love in Klevan, Ukraine

Tunnel of Love is a long and gorgeous tunnel made up of leaves located near the town of Klevan, Ukraine. This juicy and wet kind of green leafy tunnel acts as passage for a train. This train is run privately and it crosses the Tunnel of Love on its way to a local factory. The train supplies wood to the factory several times a day.

The train passing through the luscious green forest almost 3 times every single day has caused this tunnel to get molded into such a shape that is spectacular for the human eye and it looks like if you’re either dreaming or watching a movie in which the scene has been artificially created. But when you rub your eyes and come into the world of reality, you have to believe that Tunnel of Love is no dream, not a movie scene but a reality.

The phenomena behind the formation of this Tunnel of Love are very easy to understand. The train had to pass three times a day at least, back and forth to supply wood to the factory. The track was deep in the forest. The train had to make its way through the forest by sidelining anything that came in its way. Anything in the way of train was sidelined and rest of the plants and trees formed this shape around the track.

It is 1.8 miles long and this route is a popular spot for lovers and that basically is the reason for giving it the name of Tunnel of Love. The legends says that if two sincere lovers go there and wish for all they have in their hearts, they will have their wishes come true, provided that their love is pure and true.

It doesn’t matter whether you are with your lover or are wandering in Ukraine all by yourself, you must go to this place and watch this beauty of nature molded around human infrastructure with your own two eyes. In fact Tunnel of Love reminds me of some fact here that it is due to this amazing capability of plants to adapt to their environment as compared to many animal species that we know many species of animals that got extinct but we hardly know any extinct species of plants.
